DEEDS OF THE FLESH

In a world that is numb to sin, where mistakes, choices and acceptance has replaced SIN. Todays message is a wake up call to those who have become
NUMB to SIN.

Galatians 5:19-21 The acts (deeds) of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Sexual Sins: Sexual immorality, Impurity, Debauchery.

Sexual immorality
Fornication is sex between a man and a woman outside of marriage.  1 Cor. 6: 18-20
Adultery is when a married person has an affair with another person. Ex. 20:14
Homosexuality is sexual relations between the same gender.  Lev 18:22-23

Impurity: consuming lustful thoughts.  From inner man
Debauchery: Greek word aselgeia referred to any excess or lack of restraint. 

Religious Sins: idolatry and witchcraft.

Idolatry: this is worship of spirits, persons or graven images; trust in any person, institution or thing as having equal or greater authority than God.  Col. 3:5.

Witchcraft: sorcery, spiritism, black magic, worship of demons and use of drugs to produce spiritual experiences.  Deuteronomy 18:10-12

Interpersonal Sins: primarily express themselves in how we treat others.

Hatred: intense, hostile intentions and acts; extreme dislike. 
Discord: quarreling, struggle for superiority.
Jealousy: resentfulness, envy of anothers success.
Fits of Rage: explosive anger that flames into violent words or deeds.
Self Ambition: that is unrighteously seeking power or position.
Dissensions: introducing decisive teachings not supported by Gods.
Factions: division within the congregation into exclusive groups or cliques that destroy the unity of the church. 
Envy: resentful dislike of another person who has something that one desires.
Drunkenness: impairing ones mental or physical control by alcoholic drink.
Orgies: excessive feasting and revelry; a party spirit involving alcohol, drugs, sex, and the like.

May I remind you what Paul said in Gal. 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

If you continue to walk in your flesh the scripture is very clear (vs. 21) you shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.
