Steps to Next Level Living

Isaiah 54: 1-3 Sing, barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband,says the LORD. Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.  For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.

Four Steps to move from Barrenness to Fruitfulness:

1. Enlarge Territory (enlarge the place of your tent)

Enlarge:  to give greater scope to: 
Territory: a geographic area belonging to a governmental authority (kingdom)

Enlarge your Vision. Where you believe you can go.

Duet 11:24 ; Josh 1:3 God promised Moses and Joshua that he would give them the land, but the boundaries were up to them.

If you are going to be a kingdom minded person you need to reject smallness.

2. Stretch your curtain of your tent (Faith)

When you stretch the curtains of your tent, you are believing that there is more in you than you see.

2 Cor. 5:7 tells us to live by faith and not by sight.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.

You will never go from barreness to fruitfulness without faith.

3. Lengthen Your cords (This has to do with relationships)

Ecc. 4:12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Prov 27:17 As iron sharpens iron.

Get around people who are sharper than you.

4. Strengthen Your Stakes (Absolutes)

Stakes: are absolutes = morals, beliefs, standards.

They are the bedrock things that no matter how big you get you never get away from.

No matter what comes against you when your stakes are strong, you will stand.

If you dont have your stakes down right, when the storms comes your going get in a mess.

Long ropes (relationships) need strong stakes.
Examples: Dating, College, Marriage,

With increased extension you need increased stability.
