Pay It Forward

The expression “pay it forward” is used to describe the concept of asking that a good turn be repaid by having it done to others instead.

We love this movement.
Someone opens a door for us. We open a door for others
Someone lets you out onto a busy road. You let someone out on a busy road.

How many understand to PAY IT FORWARD entails Risk.

But this movement started a long time before we have ever heard about it.
* PIF had it origin with God.
* And it was conceived out of LOVE

God had this principal in mind before He even created man by paying His provision forward.  He knew that even though Adam & Eve would ins, their seed would eventually change if they could experience His goodness, mercy and unconditional Love.

For God so Loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Rom 5:8

Christmas is when God Paid it Forward

God saw what state we were in:

The LORD saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.” Genesis 6:5

”but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more...” Romans 5:20

Pay It Forward is a brilliant illustration of grace in action. Grace is deliberate, active, infectious goodness.

Conceived iny Love, Carried on wings of Hope, Delivered by the hand of Mercy
* God Paid it Forward - Hoping you will respond to his Goodness

Rather than Christmas being ABOUT giving
Let Christmas be FORgiving.
